Meet the Arctic Paws Dog Sled Tours Husky Family.  All of our Huskies are family pets, and trained sled professionals.  Some of the Siberian & Alaskan Huskies are given to Arctic Paws by folks who can no longer care for them. Pulling a sled is what Huskies were created to do, and they love it.  When the snow is falling, Arctic Paws Huskies want to be one place, and one place only; out in front of a sled!

Our dog sled team has three positions:  leader, swing and wheel dogs.  Lead dogs guide the other dogs along the trail.  They are the bosses and the brains of the operation.  Next are the swing dogs who have endurance and speed.  They follow the leader.  Last but not least are the wheel dogs who are the power for the team and pull the weight of the sled.

CeeCee is your typical black & white blue eyed Siberian, but there is nothing typical about her!  She was given to us by her owners because CeeCee thought their new whippit puppy was to play with like a toy.  CeeCee is a talker, and will tell you her opinion on anything, especially how to prepare her food and when she should go out on a dog sled tour.  CeeCee runs the wheel and swing positions with many of the Huskies.  This season she is helping to train Ella-Bella and Jasper  She and Stark have the same father at Salisbury Kennels (Puff Daddy).  Cee & Stark are both related to Yazzie, Mingus, Tuzi & Huali - their mothers are sisters

Wile is pure white with bright blue eyes.  He is the most adorable, delightfully happy Siberian.  He was given to Arctic Paws by an older couple who wanted him to be a sled dog, have other Siberians to play with and meet lots of people.  He spends lots of time with little ole Winslow, but his best buddy is Stark.  Wile and Stark look so much alike when they are running it's hard to tell them apart. They love running around the yard at full speed and tackling each other.  Wile runs as lead dog with Stark or swing alone.
