No snow for this weekend so we are bringing out the dog cart (special go-kart
for dog sledding on wheels)
Cost for carting is $45 per
person (ages 5-11 riding or 12 and older riding & driving)

Located at the
in the heart of the Pocono Mountains in Northeast Pennsylvania. Dog Sled Training Tours will operate
mid December 2011 and run through late February 2012 depending on the amount of snow we are experiencing in the Pocono Mountains.
You are the MUSHER! We operate Dog Sled Training Tours on snow covered groomed trails on the Inn at Pocono Manor's pristine Golf Courses. You
learn to mush which is standing on the back of the Dog Sled on two runners (like skis) and drive the team of huskies. Friends
and Family take turns mushing or riding as passengers in the basket of the dog sled. (see photos)
You participate in the entire adventure. This is not a ride. It's a learning experience
and adventure of a lifetime!
Between 6 - 8 tour guests participate in a relay type adventure taking turns as the MUSHER, or the passenger sitting in the dog sled basket. You also get to follow along next to the dog sled on a snowmobile
driven by a guide so that you can take pictures of your family and friends. We also take guests out to the mushing trail on a red sled pulled by one of our guides

Each tour takes approximately (1) hour and includes
all of the activities below:
- Checking in for
the tour and completing the Tour Waiver
- Participating
in dog sled training to learn how to mush and stop the sled
- Meeting
and learning about all the Huskies
- Taking photos of the Huskies before the tour and while out on the trail while you are mushing
- Riding on the sled as the musher and as a passenger in the sled basket
- Following on the sled pulled by a guide with a snowmobile while other guests mush
Payment
the day of the tour is by CASH ONLY. Arctic Paws does not have access to a credit card machine on site.
You need to plan to arrive 30
minutes before the tour time (tour at 10:00AM you are expected to be on site checking in at 9:30AM)
Tours operate ontime as a courtesy for our guests who arrive on time (thanks so much!)
You are required to bring a printed copy of your tour confirmation email (this is your ticket)
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on the tour by an adult
