HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION FOR THE DOG SLED TOUR

Click the blue highlighted link below which will take you to the Arctic Paws Calendar
Click on the calendar in the box on the date and time you wish to go on your dog sled tour
Calendar will provide a pop up that asks you if you would like to reserve
Click on the pop up box where it says "reserve this date"
You will be taken to a reservation form which you must complete
The form will ask you arrival day - enter the day you want to go on the tour
The form will ask departure day - enter the day after
Enter the time you wish to go on the tour with one back up time
You will need a credit card to guarantee your tour - the card will not be charged unless you do not cancel
Cash Only - tours are paid for in cash in person at the time of the tour.
You need to provide info on the # of adults, # of children
Enter the ages of every one under 18 in the comments box that requests this info
Comment - enter any comments or questions in the comment section at the bottom of the form
Once you submit the form you will receive an email copy of your request (this is not a confirmation)
Within 48 hours Arctic Paws reservations will send you an email confirmation that you must bring with you as entry for the tour
SAME DAY - we can not accept tour requests the same day as the tour since we are out on the trail
PRIVATE TOUR - If you wish to go out on the tour with your only family or group of between 1-6 people you can request a private tour in the comment box of the reservation form. See the How much does a tour cost tab for pricing. You mush and ride on the Private Tour.
DOG SLED RIDE WITH IDITAROD MUSHER KIM DARST - Click here for pricing and info on how to request a private ride Enter "Dog Sled Ride" in the comments section of the reservation form. Dog Sled Rides with Kim is a ride where you sit in the basket and Kim Darst Iditarod Musher - mushes the dog sled for you.

The Arctic Paws Dog Sled Tour Waiver (link above) must be signed by all guests over the age of 18. Please click the link , print the waiver, read carefully, sign and bring with you for your tour. This will save you time at check in for your tour!

Please read this information before requesting your Dog Sled Tour.

OUR TOURS - Tour requires your participation - kindly read all info - The tour is intended to be a learning experience giving you the opportunity to mush and learn about the Huskies. It is not just a dog sled "ride".

RESERVATIONS - Tour requests are only made online. We are not able to accept reservations over the phone

CREDIT CARDS - You are required to enter a credit card when making the tour request. This is to guarantee your reservation and will only be charged if you fail to cancel your tour in advance (see Cancel below)

GIFT CERTIFICATES - You are required to enter a credit card when making the tour request. Payment the day of the tour is your GIFT CERTIFICATE. Please print and bring it with you for payment.

CASH ONLY - Onsite the day of the tour payment is made with CASH only. We do not have a credit card machine onsite and do not accept checks.

CHECK IN TIME - You must be there 30 minutes prior or the tour will operate without you as a courtesy to the guests who arrive on time

YOUR TICKET - You need to bring your printed email confirmation like a ticket for the tour

CHILDREN - Children under the age of 4 are not permitted on the dog sleds

UNDER 18 - Guests under 18 must be accompanied on the tour by an adult over 18

PRIVATE TOURS - Private tours are available for 1-6 people only. This means only your friends and family will go out on that tour with you. When making the reservation please put in the comment box that you are requesting a private tour. (see tour cost tab for the pricing) Private tours are not available on holidays.

PRIVATE RIDES WITH KIM DARST - this is a ride where you are not mushing but riding in the basket of the sled. These tours are limted and by request only. Tour require a $100 deposit. See Private Rides with Kim Darst tab.

CANCEL POLICY - Non-Holiday Cancel Policy is 48 hours prior to your tour and must be in writing via an email or your credit card will be charged a no show fee if we can not rebook the tour space (dogsledtour@yahoo.com)

**WHEN WE DON'T HAVE SNOW** When we don't have any snow - Arctic Paws Reservations will call and email guests 24 hours prior to advise tours are canceled due to no snow** We will also post that we are not operating on the website
